British Championships. 5th & 6th September. Edinburgh, Scotland.

The forms have now been sent it. We have 28 competitors and a cracking men's team;

Myself and Sensei Dave cant make it due to a students wedding that weekend. Sensei Craig Burke will be in charge of the squad, So make it as easy as possible for him and make sure you all hit your weights, have full protection and your license books. OH and also Shindo badges on all gis please, Show them where you come from when ya on the podium, Osu!

Coaches; You must have full coaching track suits, coaches T shirts and ID badges.

• NOTE 14 - 15 MUST HAVE FULL WKF PROTECTION (FACE & BODY)
• ALL UNDER 18 MUST HAVE SENT IN THEIR CONSENT FORMS.(IF YOU HAVE NOT YOU MUST SEND THESE IN YOURSELF AS I HAVE SENT IN ALL THAT WERE SENT TO ME.

KENYUKAI COMPETITION; SUNDAY 27TH SEPTEMBER, MANCHESTER.

CLOSING DATE FOR NAMES AND FEES; FRIDAY 18TH SEPTEMBER.

Your instructors have the forms, so if you want to have a go at the last squad event for this year, take your fees and info to your instructor now please.

SATURDAY 10TH OCTOBER

12.00 PM - 1.30 PM; BEGINNERS TO PURPLE BELT

2.00 PM - 3.30 PM; BROWN & BLACK BELTS.

COST £5 PER PERSON 1 1/2 HOUR COURSE.

        Sensei Alex (our Kata coach) has been picked to represent England in the team kata event at the Junior World championships in Morocco. He must find £650.00 for his flight and hotel. He is putting on a general karate course to improve any karate-ka's skills all money raised will go towards his expenses, both traditional and sport karate students will find the course interesting. If you would like to attend the course and support Alex in raising funds the course details are above, we are also holding a raffle at the Barnsley Dojo, if my student who are reading this e mail can bring prizes for the raffle and more importantly buy a ticket, 50p each, this money will also go towards his expenses.

SUNDAY OCTOBER 18th DAN GRADING;

THERE WILL BE WADO BLACK BELT SESSIONS EVERY TUESDAY 1ST SEPTEMBER 7.00 - 8.00 PM (£4.00) FOR ANYONE THAT WANTS THAT EXTRA HELP AND DOJO TIME.

PLEASE ASK YOUR INSTRUCTOR IF ITS OK TO ATTEND IF YOU ARE NOT FROM MY DOJO. THANKS

SENSEI GARY BAKERS 2ND KATA COURSE CANCELLED

Unfortunately Sensei Gary has had to pull the plug on the 2nd part of the Kata seienshin. the numbers attending did not cover the cost of the hall. He thanks the students who attended the fist course but wished more students in the association could have supported the course.
