SHINDO KAI AGM; this Sunday 7th December (Barnsley karate centre);
You must park in the car park across the road as parking restriction are in operation at the weekends, it is free to park!
Only these club instructors below may attend the 1st part of the meeting 12.30 - 2.30 pm. arrive for 12.00 pm - 12.30 pm for form filling; PI Insurance, Black belt & coaching registration. Can all instructors bring your cheque books and shindo kai license book with your Dan grading dates filled in the book. I have received many black belt and coaching registrations through the post & by email, this cuts down on form filling for everyone, if you don't get the forms sorted at the AGM, will must sort out your own details with the EKF. This applies to EVERY DAN grade within shindo kai who is 16 years of age and over.
12.00 - 12.30 pm; form filling. (for any student who wishes to get their Dan & coaching forms sorted or PI insurance.
12.30 - 2.30 pm the AGM meeting for club instructors and executive committee only. (Students will be asked to leave the meeting)
2.30 - 3.00 pm for any Shindo kai license holder. (license must be brought if attending, if it is out of date you are not a member!)

10.00 - 10.45 Am for students taking Purple & Brown belts.
10.35 - 11.30 am; for students taking gold tags.
All bring in date license, Hand mitts & grading fee of £15.00.

12.00 - 12.15 pm; Students taking RED TAGS.

1.00pm - 1.30 pm; Students taking green belt BLUE TAGS & FULL BLUE belts.

WAYNE OTTO KUMITE COURSE;
Sensei Paul Newby has arranged for Sensei Wayne Otto (9 times world champion) to coach a kumite session at his Olympik Dream karate dojo.
SATURDAY THE 6TH DECEMBER
Venue; Olympik dream combat centre, Riparian way, Skelton Park, cross hills, BD20 7BW
To get sensei Otto up for a course cost alot of money, so please try to support Paul and try to get over, all squad fighters please do your very best.

Sensei John will not be able to make the course as it lands on our club gradings for the lower graded students, but will try to get as many higher graded students up there for Paul.

The AMA Bradford competition;
Shindo kai took the men's team & ladies team event. A full list of winners will be posted when the club instructors who went E mail me them through, some texted me through out the day, many thanks if you did keep me up dated.
DAN GRADINGS FOR 2009;
From next year, ALL students within shindo kai must pass certain criteria B4 they can attempt any Dan grading. Everytime you go to a Shindo Kai event, you must take your license book to your Instructor who will write in the event, date and sign your book.
For a 1st Dan to be taken you will need a full page of events in the back of your license, 2nd Dan 2 pages, 3rd Dan 3 pages.
16 + students; You take 1 written exam that has both Judges and referees exam in one, then do your practical at comp for your Judges, then Referees badge. For all students taking higher Dan grades this exam must be passed. We have had some clubs who are not following the same rules as the other clubs in shindo kai & from 2009 ALL clubs will be following the same set of rules.
