Polite reminder; The registrar is going on holiday at the start of NOVEMBER, all licenses run out on the 14th of the month and will not be processed in time for our national championships on the 22nd of November.

They need to be in the hands of the registrar for the 1st of November.

Out of date license means no insurance , which mean no training or shindo kai events. thank you

REPORT; ATHERSLEY LEISURE CENTER.

OFFICIALS / FIGHTING / KATA / BLACK BELT GRADING COURSE

 

Many thanks to the club instructors, coaches, students who made this course one of our biggest to date;

A cheque for £1,000 was handed over to Alex who has been picked for the world karate championships in morocco in November. this was raised by the students from the Barnsley Karate Center who raised £905.00 (special thanks to paul barradell), Rotherham martial arts club £64.00 and we threw in £31 on the day to make it upto £1,000. well done to everyone who contributed to help Alex out.

• The referees course run by Chief referee Sensei Ashley Pickles had 25 attending, working on kumite and kata marking.
• The Kumite course run by Sensei's Craig Burke & Paul Newby had around 60 training on all aspects of Kumite.
• The Kata Course run by various coaches and Sensei Alex who is our Kata coach had around 110 training to get those katas correct.
• Then the Dan grading; 6 from sport karate, and 31 from wado.
• listed below are the students who passed the grading, commiseration's to those who failed.
