Juniors & Seniors; Saturday 7th June.
Note, 
that competitors who have not sent in your license numbers for the AMA comp, run the risk of being disqualified by the organisers, if that happen we cant help you out. I & the organisers ask every time, I can make a data base of all numbers, but only if individuals send them in.
Clubs who owe entry money can either post them onto me or bring them to the squad sessions, I will be going over to the senior squad session when the junior one has finished.
SQUAD SESSION NEXT SATURDAY FOR ALL WHO ARE COMPETING.
2.00 PM - 3.30 PM FOR ALL JUNIORS 15 AND UNDER; BARNSLEY KARATE CENTRE
2.30 - 4.00 FOR ALL 16 & ABOVE ; FIGHT UNIT
COST PER PERSON £3.50
IT IS NOT JUST A MATTER OF TRAINING WITH YOUR CLUB INSTRUCTOR, YOU MUST BOND WITH THE OTHER SQUAD MEMBERS AND FEEL PART OF THE SQUAD AND NOT BE AN INDIVIDUAL ON THE OUT SIDE. OTHERS DO NOTICE!
WAYNE ROONEY DOES NOT JUST TURN UP AND PLAY FOR ENGLAND ON THE DAY, HE TOO MUST TRAIN WITH THE OTHER ENGLAND SQUAD MEMBERS!!!!

ALEX GARDNER GOT TO THE QUARTER FINALS IN THE KATA EVENT AND WENT OUT TO A SOUTH AFRICAN & ALSO GOT TO THE QUARTERS IN THE KUMITE.
JESS DAY FOUGHT WELL BUT WENT OUT IN THE PRELIMINARIES.
ANY ONE ELSE DO ANYTHING AS I DID NOT KNOW WHO WAS GOING UP, DROP ME A LINE PLEASE SO I CAN LET THE OTHER KNOW.
SENSEI PAUL NEWBYS OPEN DAY FOR HIS NEW ''OLYMPIK DREAMS CENTRE'' (with a K)
Sensei Paul has taken the ultimate step and opened his own Dojo. His open day is Saturday 21st June 12.00 pm.
He has invited over sensei Wayne Otto, world champion!, for a karate course. The cost is £10 per person and places are open, but you must inform Paul or myself that you would like to train on the course 1.00 pm - 2.30 pm.
I will be going over on the Saturday around 11.00 am, if any one wishes to come through and tag on just drop me a line. We must all try to support our own and help out as much as possible. Opening such a large centre is always nerve racking and a brave move, but the ultimate for a Sensei.
Good luck Paul from all the Instructors and students. Live that dream!
Other disciplines that are being covered are; MMA, Kick boxing, Arm wrestling, Power lifting, Boxing. All coached by World champions.
The minister for sport, Gerry Sutcliffe will also be there.
Let me know about the Otto course please, Paul needs our support as he needs to cover Sensei Ottos expenses.
All Shindo kai club Instructor are invited and please ask your students about the Wayne Otto course, should be a good one.
