Kenyu kai competition
Myself and Dave will not be going to the Kenyu Kai competition the week after the English, there are only so many weekends and pennies in people pockets, we know that, so if students wish to go along as a club entry and not a squad entry please feel free to do so. The seniors is up to Craig & Paul.
CUMBRIA OR AMA NATIONALS?
Lastly we have been invited to attend the AMA closed championships at the Ponds forge Sports centre in Sheffield. They have not done this since 1990 and we are the first association to be asked. we will have a choice of competitions in a week of each other so we need to be clear which one will be open to students to attend without the squad and which one will be the squad competition. I have been asking coaches and students which there would prefer to go to, at the moment Sheffield gets the nod;
- The cumbrian open in carlisle
- The AMA in Sheffield
we have a month or so to decide so let me know what you would like to do, I will go with the majority.
If anyone wants entry forms or posters for any of the events, drop me a line and I can send them to you by E mail
Yours in karate Sensei John & Ged
